I am a registered RBT ABA Therapist and also have a 17 year old autistic son. I understand the stress and pain families go through in dealing with a child that has self injurious behaviors and attacking family members. I have been working with my client Ahmed for over 4 years in his home. Over the past 8 months his behaviors have increased to the point where his own school Garden Academy (which is known to be one of the better schools to deal with children with behaviors) kicked him out of school because they could not handle him! Ahmed in my opinion was struggling with an internal pain in which he could not handle no matter what sensory or other approaches that we tried. He wanted desperately to work and be good but couldn't do so without attacking me by scratching, pinching, kicking, spitting, screaming, crying, throwing items, tipping large wooden table over. He would go and attack his parents, brother and sister by pulling their hair, pinching, scratching them. His siblings were scared to be around him because they never knew when he would go after them. Ahmed would scratch the skin off his legs, scratch his face, bang this head against the wall and the screaming/ crying was non- stop. When driving in the car Ahmed would attack his siblings and would reach over into the front seat to pinch, scratch and pull hair all the while crying and screaming. This is very dangerous and could have caused a serious accident. When out in public Ahmed would get upset for no reason and just fall to the ground or run into the street into traffic. The parents had to also always be on guard that Ahmed didn't attack people in public. The stress this was causing in the family was astronomical! I understand that nobody wants to put their child on medication but if you could see the miracle that Dr. Muhammad Zeshan did for Ahmed you would change your mind!!!! Ahmed is now really happy and smiling (not in a drugged state). He loves the work with me again and his work has improved because he can focus more on his work and not on his behaviors. I urge you to contact Dr. Muhammad Zeshan if your son or daughter is having similar problems . He really can help you! Please do it for them!!! They deserve to be happy and calm in their own body. Dr. Muhammad Zeshan is very understanding and will be with you every step of the way in helping you get help you desperately need.
